Hours of Operation:

  • Front Desk = 9am-5pm daily on weekdays, 9am-4:30pm on weekends

  • Indoor courts = 9am-9:30pm daily

  • Cafe & Bar = 2-10pm on weekdays & 12-10pm on weekends

First Timers:

Do I need to create an account? - Yes! All players must create an online account in order to make any bookings at the WRC. Online accounts are free and can be made via the ‘sign up/sign in’ button on our website homepage. The signing of our safety waiver is a mandatory step in the making of your online account.

Are memberships available? - Once you have created your free online account, we have a variety of memberships available for purchase which can be added to your WRC account. Members receive discounted rates across all bookings at the WRC, advanced booking privledges & unlimited booking opportunities on a weekly basis. To view all membership benefits, please visit mywrc.ca/membership. All memberships are purchased per adult & any children under the age of 18 receive a complimentary membership when their parent purchases a membership.

Is there a dress code? - We do not have a strict dress code so please wear what you will be most comfortable to play in. Black soled shoes are not allowed on court to prevent marking & open-toed shoes are not allowed for safety reasons. Shirts must be worn at all times.

When should I arrive for my on court booking? - We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your booking start time to allow time for you to check in with the front desk & use the changing rooms if needed. To avoid disruption to other players bookings, we kindly ask that you do not enter the indoor dome prior to your booking start time.

Do I need to book in advance? - Players are encouraged to make reservations & bookings in advance to avoid disapointment. All classes & programs have a have a minimum registration requirment in order to run as well as a max capacity of spots available.

How far in advance can I make bookings? - Members can book court rentals up to 7 days in advance, whilst non-members with a free guest account can only book 3 days in advance. Private lessons can be booked 2-3 weeks in advance by all based on the season. Regular programming such as coach-led clinics & mixers can be booked by all up to 7 days in advance. Specialized programming such as private camps can be booked 2-3 months in advance based on the season.

Cancellation Policy:

At the Whistler Racket Club, we value your time and commitment to our facility. To help us manage bookings efficiently, we have a strict cancellation policy.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

  • This policy applies to all bookings, including private lessons, court rentals, mixers, & group classes.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a full charge for the booked service.

  • No-shows will be charged in full.

72-Hour Cancellation Policy

  • For specialized programming such as camps & tournaments, we require 72 hours notice for cancellations.

  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will incur a full charge for the registration.

  • No-shows will be charged in full.

How to cancel:
Cancellations can be made by contacting the club via phone, email, or through our online booking system. Please ensure you receive confirmation of your cancellation.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these policies, which allow us to maintain a seamless scheduling experience for all our members.

Facilities & Amenities:

How many courts are available? - The WRC, open year round, is home to 3 indoor & 3 outdoor tennis courts, as well as 10 indoor & 4 outdoor pickleball courts. All courts are hard courts. The outdoor courts are generally open from May-September on a weather dependant basis.

Is there a pro shop on-site? - A variety of Selkirk & Acorn pickleball paddles are available for purchase during front desk hours of operation, as well as Head tennis rackets, Pro Pen tennis balls & Selkirk Pro S1 pickleballs. Racket & paddle rentals are also available for use but cannot be taken off site: regular rentals are $5 & premium rentals are $10.

Do you offer racket re-stringing? - Yes! Re-stringing pricing ranges between $33-$55. Popular strings available include Babolat’s ‘RPM Blast’, ‘RPM Rough’ & ‘Xcel’.

Are there changing rooms on site? - Changing rooms with shower facilities & lockers are available for all players. Please note locks & towels are not provided so please bring your own if you would like to make use of these amenities.

WRC’s Coaching Team:

Private lessons are available with our team of Tennis Canada & Pickleball Canada certified coaches. If you would like to request a particular coach, please make our front desk aware at the time of booking & we will do our best to accomodate your request. Please note that if you do not request a particular coach, you will be assigned the first available coach at your preferred time.
